Comical. Entertaining. Wonderful.

Script by Bob Larbey plus four talented actors including the late Michael Williams alongside his wife Judi Dench. One of the best sitcoms of the 1970s. Engaging. Funny throughout, Would suit all ages. Thank
you.

80s TV comedy at its best

Judi Dench and her husband Michael Williams playing the roles of 2 single people (Laura and Mike) who get introduced to each other by Laura's sister and begin a very rocky relationship. A wonderful cast, each perfectly suited to their roles and a relationship between two people who seem to find it hard to live with each other but cannot live apart. Beautifully written by Bob Larbey (The Good Life) the script has an excellent balance of humour and pathos. You can't help but sympathise and empathise with Laura and Mike as they struggle to make a partnership work. This is a refreshing comedy, definitely not stuck in an 80s timewarp but as relevant now as it was then and a relief to see again some innocent humour with no bad language.Read full review...
