Terrible.

I love this programme, and thought id treat myself to it. I ordered the broadcasted version, they sent the shortened version. Then had the cheek to tell me their photo is only for illustrative purposes. Well why not actually show what we are ordering?? Then to add more dosgust, gave me only 20% of the cost back, a whopping 60p. Its decieving, as people are ordering one product and getting another, its disgusting, should be ashamed of themselves.Read full review...

A really enjoyable film to make you think of retiring in France

My wife and I saw the weekly episodes on tv years ago and it inspired us to buy a place in France'alas like a lot of other people it was just a dream but we loved the dvd and relived our fantasy with John Thaw acting the part of Peter Mayle the author who actually did take the plunge and recalled all the joys and tribulations of living in beautiful Provence.
A really excellent film to enjoy on a winters evening curled up by the fire with a nice bottle
