The ACE-515 simplifies a complicated audio system very nicely!
This is my second ACE-515. I've had the other for years. I use them for their sequential power-up feature in a bi-amp system with electronic crossovers. It makes it simple for my family to use the system by just powering on the pre-amp and everything else turns on and off safely. I don't know if the power-protection capabilities have survived the years well enough to be dependable but I use other filters for that. Tracking down rack-mount ears for them isn't easy but they're out there. Makes it look right at home in my racks and the ACE-515 simply does what it's supposed to.Read full review

A must have for any Hi Fi system
One of the most overlooked accessories for any Hi Fi Separates system. Not only does the unit clean up the AC power supply, but it has a delay function to first turn on the preamp and tuner and then soft starts the amp after the source is warmed up and ready to go. On shut down it shuts off the amp first and then the sources. Prevents harsh noises and overloading your speakers not to mention saving wear and tear on your power switches on your separate components. ANd if you are an Adcom owner, you understand that these power switches often fails on these units. A must have for any system.Read full review

Adcom ACE-515 Power Conditioner and Sequencer
It is a great product worth its value.
You get a clean power since it filters all noise coming from the power grid and allows smooth power on of problematic components like big power amplifiers.
In my case, without it I got noisy AC power from the power grid and when the power amplifiers went on, they made a big "thump" in the speakers.
