Opteron 2380 - real grunt in a 64-bit world
If your motherboard can support the 3rd Generation Opteron 2380 (or two of them) then you have a machine with immense computing power. Add a high end Video card and there are no limits. The high cache levels on the 2380 ensure that Windows 8 reports the maximum 7.9 on Memory speed and with a couple of 2380s, 7.6 on processor speed. But double check that your MB can support this Shanghai chip as some older boards don't support quad chips later than Barcelona.Read full review...
