Decent monitor.

The picture is good. The little speaker has almost no volume, so you will still have to use and external setup. You will also have to manually turn on the HDMI (save and read the directions).

Worth every penny!

Bought the Asus VE248H for a new workstation build (first one!) Got a great price, and am amazed with the quality and the size! This guy is a big one. Speakers are not to be used, and if you buy this monitor without better speakers for your gaming/computing/browsing whatever, you need to spend your money more wisely...

Pros: It has two speakers built in and they have very good sound quality I use them all the time when I take my computer to school. It has amazing graphics and and the HDMI is also very nice because then you don't have to bring an audio and dvi/vga cable. Just an HDMI

Cons: Absolutely none

Other Thoughts: I took a ton of time researching different monitors and I chose this one because it's very affordable and it is cheaper now then when I bought it. It used to be $280 and they run deals on it quite a bit.Read full review...
