I purchased 2 ATA GDO 10 years ago and one of then finally died. I knew the brand was good and reliable. The new GDO6v4 is much smaller, quieter than my original. It was super easy to install (though you do need 1 other person to assist for a couple of minutes).

ATA GDO6v4 Garage Roller Door Motor

Brought this roller door motor to replace my old Dominator one which had stopped working. Good for doors that have very little space to the side of the door. I was able to install it using the instructions supplied and a helper. You do need something to support the weight of the door while you swap the motors over. Programming the remote control was fairly straight forward too. Its much quieter and more gentle than old motor, but slower to open/close. I've had a v3 motor installed for 18 months now and the v4 motor for about 2 months. Both running trouble free.Read full review

Works quite fine

The product looks good and it was one of the recommended brands by my garage door installer. The reason why I specifically bought this one is the 7 years warranty and the easy access transmitter which is attached to the manual release cord (meaning that I don't need extra wall space to install the easy access transmitter). The Youtube videos were handy and were a much easier way to assist with pairing the remote controllers with the motor rather than having to read through the manual.Read full review
