Slightly disappointed with Andy Scott's version of Sweet involvement
I love Sweet and would have given it a five star rating except for one thing. One entire disk is dedicated to Andy Scott's version of Sweet rather than the classic Sweet (Brian, Steve, Mick and Andy). No offense to Andy but when I want Sweet, I want the classic line up... not his recreation. This of course is not mentioned anywhere in the description of the DVDs. Same issue with the CD set too. Andy likes to make money and is always attaching his group to the classic Sweet. Gotta be careful! The actual Sweet footage is incredible! Brian's voice, Mick's drum skills and Steve's flawless bass. Their harmony is just as good in concert as it is on recordings. Read full review...

the begining of glam rock
this DVD is a fun reminder of how fun and simple life used to be and the songs were fun people were having fun .This band was before there time and opened the doors for other rockers such as KISS,DAVID BOWIE and many more .There's only one thing I can say about this DVD and that is that its SWEET!!!!Read full review...

Trailblazers
Great old footage as well as live footage that I had never seen before. These guys were trend setters way before their time. It's evident that bands like Motley Crue and A slew of 80's bands used The "Sweet" blueprint for songwriting and appearance to propel their own careers. Brian was a great front man, Mick was a great drummers and their vocal performances tough to duplicate. A must have for any real Sweet fan. Sound Quality and Video is what can be expected from footage that was shot 40 years ago, but overall satisfactory.Read full review...

It's the Sweet
Mick Tucker is the star of the show. He has to be one of the most under rated drummers ever. Shame on Andy Scott & Steve Priest for having wack bands now. They should have known better. But then again, how can you even come close to Mr. Tucker? B.C. looks cool in every scene too. Captivating live concert from the original line-up here. They were HEAVY!!Read full review...
