Beautiful construction and all aluminum

This rod is the 16' version. It was not as expensive as others I had looked at getting but with this high quality construction and perfect workmanship I see no reason to throw money away on a more expensive model.
This rod is graduated in inches and feet, not metric although I found a LOT of metric versions out there if that's what you need and for almost double the price you can get dual measurement units, both metric and imperial inches.
The extension slide guides in the rod are nice and tight and even extended out to the full length this rod is quite stable and barely flexible. Using it at the first section extended condition it's straight and firm as can be and easily held plumb with the small bullseye level that attaches to the back for the rod-man to watch as he holds the rod plumb for the instrument man to see.
The small canvas like plastic rod bag has plenty of room in it for the rod and plastic bag, although I can see it wearing out quite fast with daily use and being subject to travel abrasion in your truck. It has a small flap closure with velcro on it and the bright red color will insure you don't leave it laying out when you're done for the day.
Well made, quite nicely constructed and the right price.

Grade Rod

At first my thoughts was that this Grade rod stick would be cheap in quality, however I was wrong. This Grade rod turn out to be of good strong quality material and light to handle. I when with the 16' rod and that was a good choice for me. Whats nice about this 16' rod is that you can use the back side to measure high in a room or etc. The back has a measuring rule that can be use to measure things if needed.
