Overall, a good product. The IOS app for this is just garbage, and hence the loss of one star. I had to borrow an Android phone from someone else to complete my installation, so that all my other Slings could "pair" with this AirTV. Once that is done, all is good. Great concept for sling.
So after cutting the cord I came up on sling. Wanting my local channels I found this box. The problem is everybody says they have it but actually nobody does and you have to order it. I'm not really understanding why that is. Especially for a big box like Best buy. And it also took quite a while to receive it.Read full review

Cordcutters Go-to Tool
The AirTV dual streamer (black box) is a key tool for cord cutters who:
1) get spotty reception at different areas within their home
2) stream local OTA channels across the web to where ever you can launch the Sling or AirTV app.
The box is easy to set up and offers uninterrupted, high quality HD streams.
The only knock on the box is that it takes anywhere from 10-15 seconds to switch between OTA channels while the box transcodes the stream. Also it’s another item to plug in and use electricity (while an antenna doesn’t require the same).
I would highly recommend AirTV if you fit one of the two categories mentioned. If not, just get a regular antenna and skip this product. Read full review

Air Tv
Works extremely well. Easy to setup. I paired this device with a G.E. Indoor Antenna and a 120 gig external hard drive. Able to watch and record 20 hours worth of over the air channels. I also have Sling which integrates the channels form AirTv.
I found that Air Tv works best with an Ethernet connection. You don’t necessarily need Sling to use AirTV but I strongly recommend if Sling doesn’t offer your local channels.Read full review

My Airtv
I have Sling TV and I ordered the Airtv box to add more local channels to my Sling Blue package.I live in Philadelphia so I get over sixty local channels.Its cool because they are mixed with this Sling channels.All I had to do was connect the Airtv box to my antenna, a vga cable to my internet modem,a usb drive for the dark and the power cable.I downloaded the Airtv app.I scanned the local channels through the Sling app and I was done.I can record and watch two local channels.I love my Airtv box!Read full review
