VERY good value!! I was a biology major 50 years ago and taught biology for 30 years, having a lot of experiences with many different microscopes. This one is a very good one for amateurs, stamp and coin collectors, and for me, a tool to study aquatic insects with.
Was amazed at the quality per dollar spent. The ONLY reason I refrained from 5 stars is because I know there are more expensive dissecting scopes that are larger and heavier-duty and so-called Brand Name.

Not microscope but has so many uses.
I bought this for 3D viewing of stuff in electronics like tubes, parts and damaged items removed from circuit boards. Also great for work on small circuit boards when soldering. I use it for coins and viewing anything you just want to see a bit larger. Don't know why I didn't buy one sooner. AmScope makes great products. I bought one to do smartphone repair and it’s so awesome, but it’s small if you want to do anything else besides cellphone repair like a hobby you need a bigger one.
