This shave oil does provide good lubrication on it's own, for a smooth shave, I use a DE safety razor.
I found it compliments my low foaming natural shave gel even better for the ultimate close shave.

Great natural product that does what is says. Natural woody aroma that leaves the bristles smoother for a closer shave. The razor burn is almost negligible once this is used. The oils are all natural and not harmful for the skin or the environment. Have been using this for over 2 years and don't regret it at all.
