Nice condition. Pity how apple doesnt offer anymore updates

Product came in excellent condition.
The problem is that it no longer can be updated past its ios 9.3.
All apps require ios 10 or higher.
Had i known this, i would not have purchased this model.Read full review...

iPad 2- Awesome, but do we need it?

Wow...iPad 2 is an amazing product. This is really a revolution over the first iPad, delivering content at lightning speed, thanks to a dual-core processor. It brings style to a new level as well, with its sleek (could you get any sleeker?) look that makes this iteration of the iPad 33% thinner.

As always--the cool factor is impressive. But the question remains- do you actually need an iPad? Sure, they're useful, but the iPad 2 doesn't really offer anything that any of the devices you already have don't already. Still, if you have an extra couple hundred dollars lying around, and you're a tech junkie like I am, the iPad 2 is definitely worth the cost.

Its great but not for the money!

I own everything Apple has avalible except for this product. I did my research saw that Apple wasnt the only one that had a tablet availble so i looked at all of them and loved the iPad. Its nice with the light weight and the big screen. The dual cameras is a nice feature and its nice to load things on with using the iTunes. I bought it mostly for movies and reading when I travel. But its nice to use for other appications like business too. Its a great product and dont think i will have any problems enjoying it!Read full review...

32GB Wifi iPad 2 / The Sweet spot for iPad / Perfect!

To me, the 32GB wifi version is the sweet spot for the iPad 2 ... read on to see why.

The 1st iPad was as close to a laptop replacement as one could get, finally bringing the web, photo editing, word processing, and gaming Mac-style not only affordably, but in an easy to use fashion.

As a daily user of my 1st generation iPad, I've found the The iPad 2 has several new features that make it even better than before. The only drawback is that many older cases and accessories will no longer work. Docks and Sync cables remain the same.

The new iPad is considerably thinner, more durable, and almost a 1/3 lighter in weight.

- A much faster processor and more RAM. This allows better app multitasking and allows the iPad 2 to have three new features that the 1st generation iPad wasn't capable of ...

1) Facetime video using the two built in cameras. One on the rear of the new iPad, one on the face. This will allow true video conferencing over wifi and 3G.

2) The faster processor has also allowed Apple to release a version of iMovie for the iPad. iMovie for the iPad allows editing of videos right on the iPad. (iMovie is an additional $4.99 from the Apple App Store and does not ship with the iPad 2.)

3) The addition of a Garageband audio creation and editing application. Almost identical to the Mac desktop version but now with touch controls. (Garageband is an additional $4.99 from the Apple App Store and does not ship with the iPad 2.)

- The addition of cameras has also allowed Apple to release Photobooth for the iPad. Photobooth is Apple's real time Photo/Video effects enhancing application. Example: One part of the application allows you to look like you are in funhouse mirrors - stretching your face in various funny ways. Another effect allows you to look like you are in a heat scan and another an x-ray view.

The iPad 2 is also now available on both Verizon CDMA and GSM networks. The GSM version is sold by various retailers in the United States but does not come carrier locked - but AT&T does have specific data plans for the iPad.

If you happen to have the iPad unlimited plan in the United States with AT&T - AT&T said that you are grandfathered in and can continue to use your unlimited plan with your new iPad 2.

The iPad 2 will also come in black and white in sizes of 16 gigabytes (GB) 32 GB 64 GB and in wifi and wifi + 3G versions.

My personal recommendation for the iPad is to save a little money and get just the wifi version and then use other options to connect to the internet if you are near a wifi hotspot - options like jailbreaking your iPhone for a wifi hotspot or paying to wirelessly tether your phone.

Please let me know if there's anything else you would like to know ...

Overall if your looking for a cheep Ipad I suggest this ipad 2 vs ipad air.

Ipad 2 seems to be a good product! Since it supports ios 7.0.4 the latest operating system whereas the ipad 1 does not. So buying the ipad 2 helped me get the latest apps working. So it's great. Seems to be nice a little thinker than the air but lower price and seems to be about the same. However, camera back one seems to be pretty low quality. Overall, if your looking for a cheep Ipad I suggest this ipad 2 over the ipad air.Read full review...

A must have gadget to help simplify some of life's challenges

This gadget is highly recommended, if you want to get organized personally or professionally, get in touch with family and friends, be productive, play games for yourself and your children, watch movies and TV shows, listen to music or radio, take photos or just for your day to day searches on the internet, this is the gadget to have. I have had other Tablets before but this blows me away with its ease of use or user friendliness. The only downside to this gadget is Apple's proprietary stuff, I wish you can expand the memory, insert a USB or SD card without having to buy other adapters, I also wish that you can adopt some of the Android features on t this already sophisticated gadget. But if you just want a tool to help you ease some of those things that adds to your daily stress, this is a must have. I wish Apple will let me review the iPad 3. Happy buying!!!Read full review...

good fun gimmik... would be better without itunes restriction

The good exchange rate let me look for an ipad2 on the U.S. ebay site. The product which I received was absolutly new and matched my expectations.
The ipad is more or less a "boy-toy" with all it's little apps. One of th major disadvanteges is that you cannot transfer fies from a pc to your ipad without itunes or you have to go via the web. Without this restriction the ipad2 could well be used for office purposes.Read full review...

The only way to buy this.

My 2nd "refurb" iPad. Can't live without it. You have to check the side ports for scratches from usage and plugging in. Also the edges...for mishaps and drops. Both times I found all are in mint condition. All Apple attachments were included. Gotta have 32GB...gotta have iPad Air2 or later. There's a finite # of these available...one day, you won't be able to buy it, refurbished or otherwise. So pleased I got it. Price was great.Read full review...

iPad 2 is still the best tablet

Let me begin by saying that I think that the iPad is a fantastic device. I am an early adopter that has Windows, Apple, and Android products and enjoys them individually for what they are. This review is comparing the new iPad 2 to the original iPad release to help you decide if you should upgrade or try to find one of the older units on the “cheap”.

The iPad 2 comes in the same memory options as the original – 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB and no external slot is available for memory cards. With all these memory options you can install tons of apps. With the dual-core in effect, you will notice a faster loading of apps, web-pages, and web based apps compared to the original. The original was not “slower”, but in comparison, you can notice a definite speed increase. I believe that web pages and web-based apps are loading faster do to increased wifi capabilities, but I am unable to test this theory.

Like the original, iPad 2 is a slick device, meaning both beautiful and slippery. Looking much like the original, except now it's 10% lighter and 33% thinner. What does this mean? This unit actually becomes even more slippery when moving it around in hand. The original's had some weight behind it, good and bad (though only by a few ounces), was enough to keep it in your hands. iPad 2 is like a is beginning for a warranty for the unit because when hands become sweaty playing games or in heat, this thing could go flying out.

However, the Smart Cover, is an awesome option to combat this, albeit a minimum $40 option, it is NICE! Using magnets embedded in the iPad 2, the Smart Cover clicks into place to protect the iPad screen, adds hardly any weight or bulk, and turns off the unit very “sexily”. When the Smart Cover is closed, the iPad goes to sleep automatically, and then awakens when the cover is opened. The Smart Cover can also be folded to act as a stand for typing or movie watching.

The display is the same, and this is why I feel this isn’t the leap we were expecting. This does not have the Retina Display, and still boast the same specs as the original. I’m not saying that the screen is awful at all, the iPad 2's screen is still as good as the original.
The iPad 2's speaker has been moved from the side to the rear. In my opinion, this may be the only negative thing that has changed with the new release. The cameras on this device actually don’t have iPhone 4's 5 MP HDR camera, iPad 2 has a .69 MP (960 x 720) rear-facing camera and a.33 MP (640 x 480) camera in front. Unfortunately, the pictures are not the best, but in defense of the device, you are probably not taking stills with this thing. The pics tend to be grainy lack pizzazz. The cameras are really for are the ability to video chat using either Apple's FaceTime or Skype.

But if those upgrades aren't important to you, the original iPad at it's newly reduced price is makes for an excellent choice as well.

The iPad 2 includes three major upgrades over the original iPad 1:

•iPad 2 is a third thinner and a few ounces lighter than the original. It also has a slightly smaller surface area – the screen is the same 9.7 inches, but the bezel is smaller which makes it nice when you do hold this.
•There is now front and back cameras, so you can use Apple's FaceTime video chatting.
•Dual core processors (actually two 1 GHz processors on a chip).
Other than that, the new iPad is just a slightly smaller, thinner, faster upgrade to the iPad Original. You could call this an iPad 1.4 per say.
