iPhone 6S technology in a compact phone at a compact price :)
Bought as a birthday present to use mainly in iPod mode to be honest, ie WiFi only for my daughter. My old iPhone 4S was getting quite laggy and quite a few apps were no longer available through it's antiquated iOS for her.
I considered palming off my iPhone 6+ to her and treating myself to a new iPhone but at this price and size the iPhone SE is ideal for her and my 6+ still does what I want it to for me... for now.

Excellent quality Apple product. It is perfect size to still fit in your hand and pocket and due to screen resolution perfectly adequate to view everything even movies. Easy to set up and secure due to fingerprint scanner/passcode. Good camera. Simple mechanical switch on side for ringer mute is very useful. Here I am, getting a compact phone to replace my old iPhone 5 which is exactly the same size, offers vastly better performance, has much better battery life (though no smartphone is good enough yet), and is exactly what I want, all at a price that compares well with a bottom-of-the-range Chinese phone. I suppose I could ask for an edge-to-edge screen, but I happily read books on it and all the features of my old phone are still here, with more, and much working faster too. What am I missing? The only extra thing the iPhone 6 has is the barometer, the iPhone 7 is slightly waterproof, and the iPhone X offers dual SIMs; all lovely, but coming at a much higher price and a rather larger size. Otherwise I'm happy to stick where I am. This will do me fine for the next 5 or 6 years.Read full review
