I can take it fishing or outside gardening,

I am very happy with this. It s lightweight and the features work nicely. I wanted a nano for the bluetooth part to take anywhere I want. Living in the middle of nowhere land and not have the opportunity to hear the music I like it is perfect. I can listen while fishing or even gardening. I appreciate good music of all sorts and Huron South Dakota offers none of that. The only thing we really have here is jobs and they are giving the to all the foreigners along with other stuff, so I am sure I will even have less choice of hearing a variety of music in the future. Give me some great Cajun, Blues, rock, jazz, folk etc. Thank you!Read full review...

iTunes Does Not Support Nano

The iPod Nano is great! I've owned 3 of them. Unfortunately, when I purchased this Nano, I had no clue it wouldn't be supported by the current versions of iTunes! Imagine my surprise when I attached the Nano to my computer and it wouldn't sync! I called Apple support, and they confirmed it! Thank you Apple for not supporting your own gear, and for forcing your customers to spend more money on new equipment.... a real pro move! I'm done with all Apple products.Read full review...

Great For Running!

I bought this ipod solely for going on runs with. I wanted something that was small, light, and had bluetooth capabilities. I went ahead with my plan and also bought the Mediabridge armband and the Plantronics BackBeat Fit Wireless Headphones. So far so good, everything is working great together!

Surprisingly, I found out that the EarPod earbuds that came with the ipod do a fair job at staying in your ears while you are jogging too. The Nike Fitness+ app that comes downloaded on the ipod is also pretty nifty to. It helps give you an general idea of how many miles you have run and your average speed per mile run. All in all, I'm happy with it (looks cool too).

Great product overall

However, the ipod nano 7 gen i purchased was not up to par as to the description said. It has some cosmetic issue from the back and has a small nick on the edge of the screen. It also has a fluctuating battery bar- it is on 80 and goes up to a hundred then goes back to a lower battery level. I was honestly, disappointed to this. But, you get what you pay for. So, better save so you can buy a brand new oneRead full review...

Small Ipod, big sound,great enjoyment!

I love this ipod, and I especially like the features when you use earbuds with the mic, you can pause, skip over songs, and get the names and artists of songs. And if you didn't already figure it out, for the hold button you just tap the on button. Great features, allows me to self educate while working.Read full review...

The best iPod model on the market

The 7th generation iPod is absolutely the best iPod model out in the market. The 16GB model houses more music and videos and the touchscreen is a lot better to use than the old generation iPod touchpad. And it's size makes it easy to carry. The battery life of this particular iPod is incredible and can last for hours. And when plugging in a new set of headphones, it doesn't turn on automatically. The choice of turning the power on and off is all at the user's fingertips with just one power button to turn the iPod on or off. Adjusting the volume can be done on both the side buttons or on the touchscreen. Also one can edit one's playlist by adding or deleting songs at will without having to plug into iTunes.

However the downside of this model is that it doesn't include the lock function which was usually at the top left of the iPod. And when it's in one's pocket, it can turn on when the power button is accidentally pressed against an object.

Overall the iPod Nano 7th generation is a very easy-to-use and reliable for storing your favorite music and videos and listening to them or watching them on the go.

My new toy.

As expected, Apple products are always of high quality. Bought this because of the Bluetooth feature. It's the smallest iPod that Apple makes that has Bluetooth. Love it.

Clever little Gadget for Music on the go

I had reached the end of my stated 3-400 battery cycle life of my 5th generation ipod and looked to replace the battery. Well, the professional guys wanted $100.00 and I could get a new one for a little more money , so I ordered it and received it quickly by First Class postage.
First thing I did was hook it up to itunes and recorded the serial number, then went to apple support on the web and registered it. It accurately recorded the purchase date of the company, Not my purchase date, but it was within 30 days, so no griping here. BUT, it showed as being a 7th Generation model and not 8th Generation as advertised. Is this a mistake or just 'Gatcha Advertising?" In any case, it should be changed for truthful advertising to 7th generation.
I like the lightweight feeling, but ordered a case because I dropped it twice already and hate the smudges on the glass surface of my fingerprints. The Bluetooth works great on my Bluetooth portable speaker for at the beach. Not sure if I will ever use the fitness app, And the pictures are so small that it made me squint. But 16GB is double my old 8GB 5th generation ipod and I am happy. Since I use it for mp3 music and mp3 audiobooks, I probably could have purchased a $ 40.00 Sandisk MP3 player and been just as happy, But if you want the best and latest " Wow" ipod, this unit meets the standards of new. (I just wish the DIY battery replacement was not rated as 'extremely difficult on this ipod)

Nano is great, but Apple quit making and nothing else out to replace it, so sad.

Love something so small but blasts powerful music on my long runs. Hate to carry more than i have to on long runs, the Ipod Nano is great. Just a shame Apple quit making it and nothing out there that compares in size, capacity.Read full review...
