The first generation I Pod touch was the easiest to use and the best design. Now with current pricing for the first generation, this is the best music and video personal device on the market. Spend the money on the newest for status, but the bugs and problems aren't worth the hassle of status if you want function. WiFi and connectivity without an issue, but some of the new apps on the market aren't support by the first generation models. IPOD 1st Gen

i bought the IPod touch for our son with autism. I guess I did not realize that the first generation does not have a speaker, and can only be listened to with headphones. I probably would not have bought it if i knew that. But it turned out good, as our son likes to play it in church and this way the whole congregation can't hear it when he pulls the headphones out. Before I even got the Ipod I loved how fast it was sent out and how easy I could track it.
I love the all the features even though on the back there are a few scratches a simple cover will hid that.

Good Item to own

Battery life is great, I would probably recommend the 3rd generation. But still a great item! Great features.

It wont work.

this product did pretty well for 2 weeks, then it quit and we cannot get it to turn on/very disappointing Hi i am the one with the ipodtouch witch my grandma bought me for christmas and then i played on it and it got a little laged and i worked with the lag and then one night i tried to get on my alarm and it would not turn on so i decited to charge the ipodtouch and then i went to school and it still would not turn onRead full review...

Nice Machine!

I think the ipod nano is the best ipod so far. Sound quality is awesome, it's small enough to carry comfortably in your pocket, and since it's flash-based, it doesn't have any moving parts... you can jog with it and not worry about hard drive damage.Read full review...

I just love this thing, I have a Droid x Phone and wanted something for my house for music, I bought the Ipod because my Home theater system had a docking station for the Ipod. This is the first thing I have bought that carries the Apple symbol but so far I am totally satisfied. Best mp4 player

IF you want a high quality mp3/mp4 player, always go with an iPod. They are extremely reliable and easy to use. Other players are cheaply made or too expensive for what little they offer.
