The overdub in English makes the film out of synch slightly, so watch it in French if you can (with or without subtitles)

Asterix & Obelix Take On Caesar (2003)

I was a bit uncertain about watching this film, having read all the books and seeing the characters as cartoons.
However, this film will not disappoint you. It is just as witty, creative, watchable as the books are. The version I had, used english dubbed subtitles. It takes a bit of getting used to, to watch the film. Like asterix isn't as small as he is in the books.
But filming a film like this will always have it's complications and I think this film tackled them extremely well.
