It's Shagadelic, Baby!

This is an extraordinarily funny movie.

Borrowing from several spy movies and shows from the past, it becomes an amazing conglomeration that will keep the viewer laughing. 1960's clothing and temperament are faithfully followed, then amplified to the point of becoming surreal. The plot is also very much in keeping with the story lines of spy movies past, yet expressed in a way that is campy and amusing.

The characters are very well developed! Mike Myers does a fantastic job of portraying a multitude of characters that are hilarious and extreme.

At first, an unobservant viewer may think that the makers just threw a bunch of stuff together... but the reality is, there are many wonderful undertones and details that demonstrate the care that went into making this movie.

Is it "tacky"? Sure. But it's tackiness raised to the level of being an art form. This is a movie that can be watched more than once, and makes a good contribution to a collection.Read full review...
