Great game that immerses you in the interactive world of the 4 nations!

This is a great game for the kids (and the Dad!). I was a little surprised at the size of the (miniature) game disc, but it works great with the Nintendo Wii as long as you have two things:
1 - a Gamecube memory card
2 - a Gamecube controller that is compatible with the Wii system.

As long as you have those two (crucial) items, you can play the game and save it at the save points throughout the game. As for the game itself, it is great! Kind of aggravating that there is no ability to Jump in the first parts of the game. Also - kind of confusing when it comes to navigating the menu screens (and equipping your character). The "Focus Moves" are not too challenging; it took my 5 year old a few times to master it and move on.
Overall, great game that stays pretty close to the spirit of the series.

Not too easy for older teens/adults, but not too hard for younger kids. It is kind of annoying that it is only one player, but it is a great companion game for Avatar: The Last Airbender - The Burning Earth (for the Wii platform).

Overall the graphics could be better but it is fun.

I haven't finished the game yet but I have found it to be entertaining and for the most part, fairly easy.

~~Warning: Spoilers Ahead!~~

At the very beginning you can only play as Aang, Then Sokka and Momo, then Katara joins you and finally you have the addition of Haru. You have to leave Haru behind for a little while, then latter you have to play as him alone, for a bit.

The first part tells kind of like a bad fan-fiction, Katara getting kidnapped by Zuko, I found it quite amusing.

I like how they did the character's faces, but the graphics when you see them could be better.

While I like being Momo, the way they go about it is headache causing and a little hard on the eyes. Also it is easier to get lost as Momo and harder to find the things he goes looking for(which can cause you to be Momo longer).

I tend to collect things in games, and hate leaving them behind, I'd rather sell them, which you can do, but when you're far from a town and your pack is full, again, you either have to leave the new idem or discard one in your bag. I'd like to have the bigger pouch before I needed it, but other then that the pouch and other things like the map and quest reminders were easy to find and access.

If you really like Avatar the Last Airbender then you'll like this game, as long as you remember that this game changes what happens in the show. And that Zuko is (so far) still the 'bad guy' with his ponytail no less. But if you have to pick between this game and Burning Earth, I'd go with Burning Earth.

Have fun, and knock some Fire Nation heads with Sokka for me!

Good gameplay, but lacks challenge

I borrowed this game from my little brother when he finished beating it. It took me about a day to finish it.

It has really high points and equally low points.

I think my biggest gripe with the game is the lack of challenge as the levels progress. The challenge level stays pretty much the same, and at times it becomes pretty mindless.

Nevertheless, I still liked playing the game, because it is fun, especially for the younger kids who love the TV series, as little brother does. :)

It has good graphics, but trying to make 2-D cartoon characters 3-D often backfires, and it really backfired in the cinematic scenes.

The controls are smooth, once you get the hang of where everything is in the game.

Completing all the missions within a level unlocks sketches and hidden goodies from the cartoon, something huge fans of the cartoon will probably love.

The background conversations in the villages are a good laugh, especially later on in the game("I dare you to earthbend the bath house...").

The gameplay gets repetitive, but all in all it is still a fun game to play. All in all, the bad points of the game outweigh the good points, so its still a good buy. :)

Definitely NOT in “Very Good” condition

I purposefully spent a little extra to get a game in very good condition. There are a ton of scratches all over the disc... I’d say it’s in fair condition. The game is still fun, though, as always.

Fun family game

The kids love this game and so does my husband. It gives them something to do together and bond while also teaching the kids manual dexterity. The kids rarely win at a level since they are 5 but they love the cartoon and the game isn't to violent for them. They easily understand it is a game and the giid guys are trying to save the world. I get a blast just watching the three of them play and giggle.Read full review...

Average

There was an empty string cheese food wrapper in the package. Kinda gross. But the game works. So ok.

very good game

The game is designed largely for kids and it does succeed as an entertaining, but slightly shallow beat-'em-up set in the Avatar universe. Avatar: The Last Airbender is a fairly straightforward affair for game consoles. Avatar includes just enough of the right spice to keep the gameplay interesting, although it never aspires to be riveting. Despite these omissions, we believe that kids - especially those who watch and like the television show - will probably still find some good fun in this game.Read full review...

great for younger fans of avatar

pros: this game has a unique story line in the life of the avatar. versitile character options in regaurds to attacks and power ups. recommended ages 5-10.

cons: cut sceanes did not have the best graphics. the game is only a one person game. you'd expect that prince zukko be the end boss but he's not. "avatar state" is not one of aang's abilities.Read full review...
