Need to protect your dog--or yourself--from ticks?

My big white puppy was coming inside crawling with ticks. Although I tried hand-picking them off, his neck was covered with scabs from the ones I'd missed (and was forced to wonder where they'd dropped off. He'd had his Lyme series and wore the Seresto collar, but there are many other diseases ticks carry.

DEET kills dogs; that was out. I tried the "essential oils." The ticks enjoyed those. I read up; picaridin. Bought a spray bottle: Dog hated it. He's 75 lbs. now: If he wants to run away, I'm hard put to stop him.

So..the wipe on. We're down to a half-dozen or fewer riding in with him now. I love this stuff.Read full review...

This product works well for keeping mosquitoes and ticks at bay. It's probably not as effective as products with deet for intense situations, but when you don't want the deet on your body, this is a fantastic alternative.
