Ax Battler: A Legend of Golden Axe

A well done RPG, Axe Battler is one for the road. What could be better on a long trip than a portable RPG? The graphics are fair, and the story is entertaining. Axe Battler will take a good bit more dexterity to solve than most other RPGs, however. The side-view battles require fast reaction time and some fighting skills to conquer. A Different Golden Axe Game

Ax Battler isn't what I imagined it to be, but I enjoyed playing it. It kind of reminds me of Shining Force, but not exactly the same concept. The graphics are nice and the music is cool too. I do find the game a bit on the difficult side, but it doesn't have to stay that way if I play it more. If you have the Genesis version of Golden Axe in mind, you won't find it on the Game Gear. RPG gamers will enjoy this one. I picked it up for a decent price on here about three years ago and it was complete. If this game is of interest to you, be sure to pick it up.
