If I Can you Can
fitted this myself and removed an old one as well took me all day on and off as I am 72 years old and have a back and breathing problem. To be honest I did a better job than the professionals who fitted my first one.
I also had to work out a way to support the unit while I was fitting it , as I did this by myself with no help
You will note in one of the photos the belt needs to be tightened this can be done by winding the bolt in at the end of the rail with a spanner .After you do this you will have to re adjust the stop limits . Photo 5 shows the adjusted belt.
Some small problem when setting the max close and minimum close as the sled was not engaged and it took a while for me to work out how to engage it as the belt has to be in a certain position
Only one thing I would suggest.
Remove the globe and go and buy a LED festoon bulb ,the light from this is very weakRead full review...

Quiet & compact
The unit was easy to install, it is quiet and compact, and although it's only been installed a couple of weeks ago, it seems very reliable. The only criticism I have is that the light is very dim, I know this is just a courtesy light but had I known it was going to be so dim I would have gone for a unit with an LED light. Other than that, I'm happy with it.Read full review...
I really like it
I brought one a few years back to replace an old unit that was there when the house was built back in the 80s. The build quality was excellent then and it still is. This is my second purchase of the same unit, it's easy to install and quiet to operate, love it.Read full review...
