Very light and elegant EDC
This is a really nice EDC. At 51.6 g (1.82 oz), it is very light. Fit and finishing are flawless. The flipper action is super-smooth, due to the two ball bearings for the blade, and closing is quick and easy with one hand. All edges (except for the Cocobolo scales) are nicely rounded, and the gimping on the flipper and frame lock are clean and functional. The VG10 blade is very sharp out of the box and perfectly centred between the frame plates. The blade is large enough to actually be useful for peeling and cutting. (In a pinch, the Böker Urban Trapper becomes a serviceable steak knife. It won't handle heavy-duty jobs though, it is just a little too small and thin for that.)
No real negatives that I can see, except that the edges of the Cocobolo scales could have been broken just a little. (This is easy to rectify with a piece of fine sandpaper in under five minutes.)
This is an elegant EDC that looks good, won't weigh you down, and just the right size to carry with you at all times. Recommended!Read full review...

Defective "LOCKING" Mechanism!!!!! Worst Knife Ever!!!!
This is really the worst knife I've ever owned!!! The "lock" is DEFECTIVE by design. After a few days I noticed that there was a lot of play, and that any pressure can overcome the "lock". The angle where the liner tab stops against the blade is wrong, and it just slides off. This is something I'd expect from a knife from a gas station, not a $100 knife. Absolutely a gentleman's gem!
This is a truly remarkable gentleman's gem. I was hesitant when I got it because it was so light. But after a careful look over and the fact that it's Cocobolo wood (light) mixed with Titanium liners and a lightweight VG-10 blade... this thing is amazing and very well constructed. For a lightweight gentleman's flipper... I cannot express the quality you receive from Boker+. This is hard to get out of your hands when you start flipping it... Nifty and unique EDC Knife
I was looking for a gentleman's EDC knife that was unique and different from everything else you see out there. This Boker Plus Urban Trapper fits my wants and desire. With the titanium frame it is very light weight. The knife opens slick as a whistle with a flick of one's forefinger. After a few tries you will get better and better at it. The blade is surprisingly longer than I thought, which for me makes it more useful. The cocobolo wood scales are very handsome and accentuate the knife.
