A "good day"

I saw this one on cable years ago and just recently got the dvd.This is the story of 3 inept kidnappers who are outwitted and foiled at every turn by their "captive"....A BABY.If the 3 stooges were reborn as criminals this would their story.Joe Mantegna is the stern leader of the trio ( ala MOE of the stooges).His charges are truly witless as they stumble along following their boss.And along the way Joe endures the brunt of physical punishment -from falling off a building-to getting his crotch set afire.Fans of slapstick will love this film,as there is plenty of physical comedy.Other than a couple rude comments this is also a fairly clean film -with little to no profanity that I can remember-so it could be watched with the family or grandma.I'm a stooges fan so I loved itRead full review...

Baby's Day Out

This is one of the few films that truly deserves the adjective hilarious. Suitable for all ages, it is a comic romp employing a very basic plot and a continuum of yes, hilarious scenes. An elderly friend of mine watched this film and admitted that it was the first in ages that he has laughed out loud. I bought this copy of "Baby's Day Out" to donate to a local Seniors' home. Many of the residents would be unable to follow the more complex plots of most movies, but this film is so episodally funny that it transcends this difficulty.Read full review...
