HUGE difference
I'm 59 with a MRI of my spine that one orthopedic surgeon described as looking like that of an 80-year old. I wake up each day feeling like the 80 year old. Four years ago, when I was taking two dozen+ ibuprofen each day, my wife, Mary Ann, handed me this book. "What can it hurt?" she asked.
I do an hour of exercise each morning now. I am currently in my second year of ballroom dancing lessons, I'm downhill skiing a dozen or more times a year, I'm rollerblading and cycling. My doctor is more than a little amazed and his nurse suspects I'm in denial when I say I don't hurt at all most of the time. I now take three or four 200 mg ibuprofen per WEEK--and that's the dosage: one pill, not 2 or 3 at a time. My doctor says surgery would be crazy now, he'd never promise anyone the outcome I've had from these exercises.
Yes, it is a big pain to get up each day and go through the routine I've developed from this book. It says 20 minutes per day. Well no, not for me, but it's worth it. I'll paraphrase Mary Ann:
"Buy it. Try it. What can it hurt?"
Or as I say to friends and aquaintences to whom I send this book (I buy four or five each year): "Skip the knife; control your life." Questions? Email me.
