Pretty Good

This game is an obvious attempt by Activison trying to appeal to younger kids during the time. This is your standard guitar hero game. This is where the Guitar Hero franchise started declining. But if you’re into Alternative Music and Pop punk then it’s pretty good. I bought the game mostly to play Ocean Avenue. The game doesn’t have your classic rock type of bands like The Rolling Stones, Poison, Santana, and stuff but it’s not bad if you’re into the set list. Older guitar hero games are better.Read full review...

Terrible game

This was Activision attempting to create their own Rock Band, as Rock Band began leaving them behind.... And man did they miss the mark completely. Going back and forth from Papa Roach to Taylor Swift is just confusing and completely ruined the experience. Probably the one game in the entire series that I just refused to finish.Read full review...

Its Awesome!!!!

Presentation
There’s no denying that this is Guitar Hero 5 painted pink. That’s disappointing seeing has how Activision wants this to be its own franchise.

Graphics
The animations for the characters are great and everything’s colorful and bright.

Sound
The music sounds great, the track list will appeal to some and drive others away like villagers with flaming torches. The Tutorial voiceover is hilariously lame.

Gameplay
The instruments are as solid and fun as ever; the same applies for the modes. Trouble is, all this is the exact same as another game that came out about two months ago.

Lasting Appeal
The career is really short, but there are plenty of “party” features to keep you going. Of course, if you’ve rocked out in GH5, these features might seem old from the get-go.

Band Hero-Really

Band Hero is yet another game in the Guitar Hero series.
It's a peak in the mainstream direction the game took in last years.
Therefore, the songs and the whole atmosphere of the game is more likley to match to more casual gamers rather then the hardcore fans of the series or heavy rock fans.
The songs are likeable, but no very hard even on expert.
Likewise, their not very fun to play on your on since there is no really a challenge.
I bought this game for my little sister's birthday and so far I enjoy playing with her but if you are looking for a more challenging game, wait up for the upcoming Warrior Of Rock.

Band Hero Review

This game is practically identical to Guitar Hero 5 (except for different songs. So, if you liked GH5, then you will like this one. I am not sure if others find this to be true but it seems like there is a different lag setting when you play guitar and when you play drums. It's kinda wierd and I never had this trouble with Rock Band games. I went though the options and done the set-up lag thing, but had to go back and tweak it some. This is a good game to fool around with, but not a lot of people are playing on xbox live anymore now. I find it difficult to get more than 1 more person to play. Take it for what it's worth.Read full review...

Great for the family...

This edition was a step in the right direction for a family friendly game. It allows you to play 1 to 4 instruments, even add up to 4 vocals. Perfect for a party or on a family game night. It is also easy to navigate...

3 cheers for this edition!!!
