Well engineered and fun to assemble.
I had seen several videos on how well engineered these kits were so I thought I would check it out for myself. Well they weren't lying, the kits can be assembled with no glue or painting at all if you choose. The supplied stickers or decals take care of the additional coloring (just get them in the right positions) or you can paint or weather them. Though you may want to spray the surface with a flat sealer to give the paint something to hang on to as the finish is VERY smooth and shiny. At some point I plan to light them but they are just as easy to disassemble as they are to build. The only drawback I had was keeping R2's dome panels on, 2 or 3 of them are meant to be interchangeable to accept his head scanners and mine are a little loose, I think a small ball of poster tack will hold them in position just fine for display though and keep them removable. I enjoyed these kits so much I ordered another set for my 10 year old grandson and he got them built with very little assistance, If you're a Star Wars fan I think you would enjoy these kits too.Read full review...

I found the kit to be accurate, well scaled, colorful, with very well precise instruction rendering the kit to produce fine examples of these two droids.
