This game came out a mere 4 years before the amazing 7th and 8th generation Arkham franchise. And despite it coming no where near the success of said series, it does hold up surprisingly well.

The Best Batman Yet!!!

Pros
+ Terrific graphics with classic unlockable costumes.
+ Stealth gameplay much in the style of 'Splinter Cell'.
+ Driving the Batmobile is fun but short.

Cons
- Follows the movie to closely instead of going in its own direction.
- Combat is not very fun.
- No huge boss battles. Fighting bosses feels like fighting normal thugs.

Comments
This is the best Batman yet. The stealth factor is fun but it would be nice to be able to explore Gotham freely. Being able to unlock classic costumes provide a little replayability but not too much. The game is still fun & different than any other superhero game out there.

Batman Begins (PlayStation 2)

i bought BAtman Begins because i am an avid Batman fan and i realized i didnt own a a batman videogame. i dont own a PS3 or xbox 360, so i couldnt get the newer games out there, so went with the last batman game to be made Batman Begins. i had heard some reviews of the game that it was an ok game, but alot better then its predecessors, but that it really doesnt have replay value, which is sorta true as ive beaten it and plyed and beaten the game once, although i would love to play it again, i had a great time. despites its ol reviews i decided the 10 dollars it was going for on ebay was worth it, so i purchased it. i love the game, it was alot of fun, and its a great way for a batman fan to be batman!!!Read full review...

EPIC GAME

I love this game not quite as immersive and intutive as the arkham series but ut is ps2 afterall for a ps2 game i am surprised at how detailed it is fair warning the guns cripple badly u can barely move when ur hit and it takes away a huge chunk of health with every bullet so wath out for gunner's knives rnt that bad u can suffer mediam damage but their pretty easy to counter and avoid and u truly have to b a detective on this game kuz unlike arkham games u really dont have a detective mode so b watchful b thoroug or might miss out on a prime opertunity to scare the whits out of ur enemys which u really dont wanna miss out on kuz the scare senquences r so epic and the criminals reactions r hilarious wne how they view batman they even tell story about batman they say he turns into a monster when ur scared enough iv never had a game that did that til now it was cool and the more criminals u scare the more wide spread ur reputation is and the more fearful ur enemys r of u arkham series can truly learn from this amazingly epic gem of a game i recommend to all lookin fir a truly epic Batman adventure outside the arkham seriesRead full review...

Much better than expected

When the game originally came out I did not consider buying because of the poor reviews. But since I'm a born again Batman fan I decided to give it a chance. The fact the game is harder to find and at a cheap price helped too. Overall it is much better than I expected. Graphics are very pretty by PS2 standards and it really immerses you in the Dark Knight's world. The only things I don't like about it is the very linear gameplay and horrible camera. This is a good game for anyone to play, but a must have for Batman fans as there are many extras from the movie.Read full review...

Nostalgic Goodness

Not only does this game take me back to my childhood of playing with my brother, but the Family Video stickers remind me of renting it as well. So glad I found this item. It's perfect.

Great Game, love the way it follows the movie

Its nice how it follows the movie, should have added some blood but other than that is fine, it has clips from the movie and you get to use batman's weapons, the stages are divided just like the movie, intro,training etc.Its good but with all the bloody games that people are accustomed to, it might seems alittle childish, but over a great buy.Read full review...

Batman Begins is a pretty darn fun action game. I have found nothing in this game that I would refer to as unenjoyable. It's stealth elements are reminiscent of Spliter Cell and the driving sequences are pretty much Burnout 3 made over. When you're done playing it, you may not pick it up again.
