Not used hedge trimmer but chain saw has performed above expectation. Found it plenty powerful enough when pushed to its limits in removing dead tree limbs. Heavy and unwieldy but quality is OK

Too heavy and unwieldy when using extension shafts not helped by the motor unit being displaced off-centre relative to the shafts on my unit. Well made and engine starts reliably but I would look to a recharchable battery unit next time. this tool is really really great value for the homeowner,a friend uses one the same professionally and that's why I bought one after he did my hedge.
