Does the job well

A good basic chainsaw that does the job without fuss, and is good value for money.

The only hassle is that the tool for adjusting the chain tends to drop out of the housing under the machine. Have not lost it yet, but it will only be a matter of time!

Have been using it for a few months now, and it is holding up well.

Great

Started second pull and cuts through a tone of stuff with ease and its nice and light only thing I'm not a fan of is the chain safety break doesn't completely stop it quick enough other then that its great and don't have to rev it to hard cutting.Read full review...

My third chainsaw

I have purchased the same chainsaw over the past 6 years, Mark I, Mark II and now the Mark III
The first one finally died (Oiler and bar in one day) The engine still works a treat so is great for spares. I cut 8 to 10 ton each year just for my fireplace (All Aus hardwood) and a few tree cutting / timming jobs a year.

The only thing I dont like is the original chain does last as long as a decent one. these are a great chainsaw, for general work, wood cutting for a fire or for camping. They are so easy to start time after time. Ive never replaced a spark plug.

Highly recommended.!!!

Cuts Well

I have only used this the one time so my review is based on a very limited amount of use. It was easy to put together. It started first pull - always a good thing. I have a smaller less powerful chainsaw that I have been using for a couple of years. I had a medium size tree I had to cut down and have been trimming the branches off with my smaller saw. I deliberately waited until I got this saw to cut the trunk down. The saw sliced through it like butter. I cut the trunk up into fire sized pieces for a couple of years time and I have never used a chainsaw that was so easy to use and cut so quickly. I am looking forward to winter when I get to use it to collect my firewood. I hope I am as pleased then as I am now.

I am back to review this again. I have now had it for a couple of years. I am very pleased with it. Great buy.

For the price its a good buy

After the usual several pulls to get fuel into the system saw starts second pull every time. Seems well enough made, only time and use will tell. Had to adjust oil pump to get oil to the chain, no big deal. Cant beat the price for a saw of this size. Cuts well, has enough power for box timber.Read full review...

Terrible bar

Starts easy but the bar is weak cuts on angles / curve, new chain factory sharpened and still cuts on a curve. No issue on same wood with my echo or sthil this cheap saw is just that cheap.
Looking at swapping for shorter better quality bar perhaps then it will cut better. Otherwise yes its ok for the money as a back up or occasional saw Read full review...

Inexpensive, problematic chainsaw of dubious quality.

For those on a budget this chainsaw ticks the box. But if you want a chainsaw that starts with a minimum of fuss this chainsaw is not for you. I have two of the same model and size and both are difficult to start.
While struggling to get it to start the flimsy pull start chord snapped. Quality?

Once running it cuts well for a budget priced chainsaw. Commercial? Good luck!

Baumr-AG chainsaws manufacturer's defacts

I bought Baumr-AG chainsaws twice. Both had manufacturer's defacts. 1st was 52cc, the chain adjuster stucked and can not be adjusted. 2nd was 62 cc, the chain oil tank cap stucked, and can not be opened. I do not want to take more risks using the product, and opted for refund.Read full review...

Value for money

So far, I am very happy with this chainsaw. I must admit to being a bit skeptical about buying a Chinese chainsaw but when it arrived, I was surprised at the quality. I pulled it out of the box, assembled it, put fuel and oil in it, then it started on the third pull. Everything is doing what it should. I look forward to taking it up to our property and putting it to workRead full review...
