This Household Won't Live Without It !
We have 3 cats, 2 with sensitive skin, and we have tried so many different brands to keep the fleas at bay. This is the only product that does not irritate their skin and does exactly what it is suppose to do. We use to break in the winter months but it no longer gets cold enough to keep the unhatched eggs in hibernation until spring so we have been using it nonstop for 3 years now and still no irritation on their skin. The product works and we will continue to use it.Read full review

Didn't work
Prior to applying this product from Petsporium store on e-bay I vacuumed my entire home and bathed my cats, I applied and after a week my cats started scratching again, because shampooing can only last for a week and the drug didn't help at all with the fleas, it's like I need to bath them all over again to get rid of the fleas. When I shampooed them they didn't scratch for entire week, after the week they slowly started scratching again and this $50 product was just a waste of money. I don't know if it's because the product was fake or if they are making a bad product. It smelled the same but the amount was more than before. Before when I bought this product it used to be only couple of dropps, this time the liquid ran all over their entire neck, there was so much of it, although the scent was the same it didn't work at all and this is the second time I'm buying this product and it didn't work. My guess is it's fake, the worst case scenario they are making a bad product which is highly unlikely, why would they suddenly make bad product? My advice don't waste your money since everything much cheaper online is fake.Read full review

Safer than other top brands
Its effectiveness seems to vary for each of my cats - but the same can be said for other brands too.
I prefer this treatment simply because I know my cat with sensitive skin won't have any bad reactions like he has with other top brands.
Only wish it killed ear mites along with fleas and ticks. Read full review

SO Much Better than other Leading Brand - No Comparison!
Have used the "OTHER" leading Vet promoted brand for long time til it just didn't work at all anymore. In pure frustration tried this product - fleas are fFINALLY under control and with continued use those eggs hidden in your carpet that hatch months later will finally all be killed as my 2 cats are indoor animals. Had one cat with bad skin that suffered tremendously as fleas thought her to be a never ending banquet. She is a different animal! No more incessant scratching. We are finally on the way to being flea free. Thank you Bayer - will never buy another brand than the Advantage II.Read full review

Advantage 2 flea drops for cats
Cat got some fleas after not being flea dropped for a couple months in the summer. Bought frontline plus and after 3 weeks it seemed like it wasn't doing anything at all. Then I dropped the cat with the advantage and the next day I was already seeing dead fleas where he was laying and the constant scratching almost totally stopped, it's been 3 weeks and I'm still seeing dead fleas where he sleeps and very little to no scratching, I've never used this brand before but its really doing a great job and I'll continue to use it from now onRead full review

Years of use and still the best of any I've tried.
I've been using Advantage II for more than 10 years. It always worked quickly and my cats had no adverse reactions to it. The last few years I've not found fleas on them, but they do shed out a lot of "flea dirt" so there must be a breakthrough resistance. Because of this I have tried other products for several months at a time without any better results so have returned to Advantage II. It is easy to find, EASY TO OPEN and apply and apparently gives my cats as much protection as anything else available.Read full review
Great Flea Protection!
I needed to be very careful with some products I have used in the past, as my cats really react negatively to them. Since they are indoor cats, I decided to try a "flea protection" product only--vs the over all including ticks, etc. This has worked like a charm! My cats do well on it, and I have no fleas! And they get pretty bad down here in Texas!Read full review

One of the safer and effective topical flea treatments for cats
Many of the topical flea treatments for cats have ingredients that are considered potentially carcinogenic, or neurologically harmful (e.g. isoxazoline ). From my research , Advantage II seems to be less likely to have these harmful ingredients, or at least the few of which I am aware.
Advantage II seems to be quite effective in controlling fleas on my cats, although it alone is not sufficient. Other means for limiting fleas must also be used.Read full review

My cat is covered in fleas!!
I have used this product for years, and until this order, it worked! I would find one or two but my cat is covered in fleas like I put gravy on him! I put one on and scratching. The next month one and a half in the middle of the month, fleas all the time. I poured it on a flea, he flipped me the byrd, told me to go to hell, then went back to chewing on my cat! In the drug world, this would be considered Bunk. In the diamond world, a Fugazi. Now, on a tight budget, I have to take him to the vet to have him checked for worms, that come from cats accidentally ingesting fleas, AND I have to pay for new flea medicine. All in all, to save 10.00, it will cost me about 200.00. I couldn't be more angry, unless you physically kicked him! Don't skimp.on your animal's health! Skimp on the extra, double whopper meal ypu eat, skimp on the two packs of cigarettes you smoke, or the high dollar make up you buy. Protect the pets you love and who love you. I learned a costly lesson by buying this junk and it will never happen again. Read full review
