An inspirational read

Sri Rahama Maharshi never wrote a book per se; this is a description of his teachings by his students. But, it provides an excellent, graspable picture of his teachings and his concept of the universe. I found it inspiring and it answered a lot of questions for me. Read full review...

Who wants to be Free?

This has by far become my go to book in regards to Sri Ramana. Written by David Godman, who actually spent time with the Maharishi, there are specific, clear, intelligent directions in how to approach the subjective search of "I". I have reread this book a 100 times, yet everytime I pick it up, it is as if reading it for the first time. This is by far, my favorite book ever. Get it, read it, live it.Read full review...

Truly rewarding.

If you can accept that you are not your body, and that you are not the constant stream of thoughts, the brain activities, that begin the moment you wake up in the morning until you go to sleep at night, then the question arises, who are you? The question of "who am I?" is the essence of the remarkably simple teaching of Maharshi. I highly recommend reading this book if you are in search of the answer.Read full review...

What It's All About

I had already read some material about and by Ramana Maharshi. His words are very clear about what is what, and what is important. If you are on the road to enlightenment, and are clear about this, then this is an excellent read. What I find most exciting is his idea of the I-thought, which is the trigger to all thought threads. Just a helpful approach to clearing out the mind.Read full review...
