Worth reading

I was put onto this book by a friend, I like these true life books as is usual with books written by ex P.O.Ws. the writer tends to gloss over the hardships and brutality imposed of them by the Japanese and Korean guards and gives an insight to how they overcome them with things like concerts and study groups it also shows how far friends would go to help their mates in time in time of need.Read full review...
