It seems to be doing its job. No fuss to install. I also have two Ortofon transformers plugged into it to meet MC levels using a moving coil pickup and have experienced no problems. Sorry to sound so negative about it; I find the device perfectly good for my needs and would recommend it. I brought this after buying two previous phono pre amps and found this one way out performs the other ones by miles. The sound quality is excellent.

The sound quality is excellent and was a really nice surprise as I have used and owned a few different phono pre amps over the last 30 years which come no where near this one for sound quality. There is no hum which I found on other phono pre amps. Well worth the money and a very happy customer here. You can even plug in a set of headphones into the 1/4” output jack without having to use another amplifier however there is no volume control and the output could be fairly loud, but then that’s an unexpected bonus and not really what the 1/4” socket is really meant for.Read full review...

Sweet little Mm pre amp

This is such good value for money it hurts....
Got this as part of my Rega 1 turntable with Linn basik tonearm, Ortofon m50 into a Roksan Caspian mk 1 and Linn Kelidhs linked with The Source cables. Sounds sweet as candy and I can't tell any difference on any rival up to £150... Well impressed Behringer... Thumbs up from DDRead full review...
