good value dual band wifi extender

I bought this dual band wifi extender as I had a lot of interference on the 2.4Ghz band,from my router so i needed a 5GHz band repeater.
It is easy to set up
Though it is not press button go as you need to log on to the device first AND select the menu choice of 2.4 Ghz / 5 Ghz or both to reoeat (this sort of task cannot be done on WPS function)

So works well

You can only set up 2.4g or 5g, NOT both

Having set it up, it worked on all my devices, but the next day they all failed to connect.

Reset up and same this happened.

It does work when you master the installation.

The unit is compact but gets hot when plugged in. The instructions are difficult to follow as they are either very brief or you have to down load them from a disk which tries to sell you a software product. There do not seem to be any instructions for when you want to use it with an I-phone or I-pad. When installed it does improve the signal strength. But it does need a strong signal itself to work.Read full review

Don't bother unless you want hassle

I've connected up many extenders of various makes and this Belkin is the very worst ever...I thought like the rest of Belkin products it would be forst class and an easy install....but it most certainly is the worst I've ever come across....I would say,...choose another marque like NetgearRead full review
