Purrr, it's Betty Boo
Rarely does the title and cover picture of an album tell us what to expect as well as this one does. Grr - and Betty Boo as a semi-tiger. Betty Boo was a tiger and I hope that - whatever she's doing now - she still is. She had attitude, she had claws. Also, on a feline connection, I once read that people either like cats very much or they do not like them at all. I suspect that the same applies to Betty Boo. Betty Boo's music fused rap and pop - to produce something with a harder edge that the generality pop, and with greater musical variety and depth than pure rap. Her hits are not on this album - for those who know her from Where Are You Baby and Doin' The Do, every track may well be unfamiliar. But every track is a gem. I bought the album because I love Betty Boo's music and I love her attitude. I was not disappointed. In my view, this is essential listening.Read full review...
