Venus moka pot - get the best!

We had an aluminium Bialetti pot for 15 years, but it was getting a bit... Shabby. So this time we got the Venus stainless steel pot. Wow!! Love it.. Makes even better coffee, looks fantastic, and is so easy to keep clean, it can even go in the dishwasher!! Absolutely recommend! Tip - measure out the number of cups you'll be wanting... Then check the size pot you need 👍😎 you will love it!!

It just doesn't work - the valve is a problem

I always use this type of coffee maker, but the valve on this one does not seem to work. I discarded the box, otherwise I would have returned it. I bought it to replace an older one which is a bit worn inside, but I am now using this one again, sometimes with the top part of the new one. This new one has a pin in the valve (the older one doesn't). I have followed instructions to push it in etc, but everytime I use it, I am disappointed as the water doesn't rise to make the coffee. At almost £50 is is an expensive waste of money. Read full review...

Hugely improved

Real advance on the classic aluminium Bialetti pots . . . works perfectly on (lowest setting of) induction hob, when reservoir first filled with boiling water from the kettle.

"6-cups" is about half of a decent mug . . . . a big caffeine-hit.

Effortless to clean - just run cold water over & through the bits - but remember to obtain a Bialetti 'service kit' of 3x sealing-washers (and a spare coffee-funnel thingie) - the seals need to be changed every year or so if you use it daily. The big hassle with these moka-pots remains having to remember NOT to hold the handle when unscrewing the thing - if you break it off that'll be a whole new moka-pot.

Makes great coffee in a trice.

Works brilliantly on my induction hob. Best with fine ground Italian coffee. Great value for money - I saw one of these in a hardware shop for £50.00!. My local Italian restaurant uses them.

Elegant Venus

This little stove top pot is so easy to
use makes just enough for two and the
Stainless Steel gives a nice clean taste to the coffee. I’m sure it’s better than the Aluminium Expresso pots we normally use.
