The game is better than the name implies!

I always have had a soft spot for trucking games. I don't know why exactly, but I do. There are certainly not too many of them out there. This game is somewhat similar to the old PC games like Truckin' USA or Big Rig where you drive around and pick up loads and then sell them. However, "Big Mutha Truckers" is much more story-driven (with side missions too) and the graphics are really quite good. The driving physics seems to be over-exaggerated, even for an 18-wheeler, but that is part of the fun, I guess. This truckers load was a little underweight.

Finally a driving game that doesn't require me to listen to hip hop.
Big Mutha Truckers reminds me of the nights we spent as kids watching Hee Haw on tv. As a kid i thought Hee Haw was lame but, now wish i could see it again. Sure the game is quite lame and could use a major overhaul but, i find it to be a welcome change. I enjoy the strange characters, and radio station i can change. i would have liked to seen more area for driving and more upgrades. I really enjoy driving the big rig and can say i do have fun with it.
If you are a die hard hip hopper then you might not like this game but, if you enjoy korney country humor, this game is for you.Read full review...

Good if you are into driving trucks, bad if you want to be in control.

I bought this video game because I use to have it when I was younger. I like the whole idea of the game, but it just is not successful. The truck is hard to steer and you will crash often, in the middle of a race the opponent will be far behind, and at the end he will come out of nowhere and pass you and take the race. You can not really compare it to any other games, I have had much better gamecube games, but also worse ones. Maybe the new video games have molded me into an HD loving fool, and maybe that is why I do not like this game anymore. Either way, in the end, you will stop playing it very soon after getting it.
