Simple and well built Z77 motherboard
So far so good with this refurbished motherboard. I am impressed by its ease of use and the layout and features seem very good so far. I've notreally explored the full capabilities as I'm using this on a secondary computer, but the feature set and layout seems very optimal for use with high end PCI-E cards and other add ons. The only thing I wish was that they had more 6GBPS headers, but we can't have everything.
I have found that 1600mhz memory does seem to present some problems with this platform, but I believe the motherboard chipset (z77) is more to blame for this and I've yet to find optimal memory from a provider. Crucial has appeared to be a problem, despite its supposed compatibility.

Great board for the price
My expectations for this board were pretty low because of the low price. I was pleasantly surprised at how well it worked right out of the box after having problems with my past 2 purchases of used Z77 boards. The only issue that I have with this board is that it has only 1 4-pin fan connector for the CPU, so I had to figure out something for my other PWM fans. Read full review...
