BlackBerry Priv STV100-1 32GB Unlocked 4G LTE GSM Black AT&T Awesome!

I love this phone! If you have never considered a BlackBerry this is the one to get and I have T-Mobile.

Android operating system keeps your application options open.

The reason why I bought this phone was to replace my BlackBerry Z30 which was stolen...hope I get it back. I have not had any other phones except a BlackBerry for years starting with a 9700, 9900 Bold with Touch Screen, Z10, Z30 and now a Priv.

This phone has a hybrid version of the BlackBerry Hub feature which is okay but nothing like the Z30 with BlackBerry 10.3

The BlackBerry Z30 was an amazing phone as long as you were conducting business and not a lot of miscellaneous things with your phone which required anything Adobe.

The only issue I'm having with this phone is the battery life...even though it has a 3410 mAh 4.4 volt battery. It just burns through it...you need to keep access to a power source either portable or fixed depending on the type of usage.

Beautiful screen, features, sound, very fast and you have your option of either touch screen or the BlackBerry Qwerty slide out physical keyboard.

Prices have finally fallen to under $350.00 and you have the choice of many phone carriers that you can utilize but verify exactly what countries by checking their Network Bands against the specifications of the Priv.

I miss my Z30 but this phone has opened a whole new world of applications and services that were never available for the BlackBerry 10 operating system regardless of it allegedly being Android application compatible because it would run APK.

For me this is a great phone that combines the precision of all Blackberrys and the availability of applications from the rest of the world...lol.

Awesome! Get one!

Canada has a Gem Here

I have written this review with the amazing phone mentioned above. I witness many phone users around my daily life who run out of battery and complain that they have to charge their phone again. I never have that problem because the battery lasts two days with light use and one and a half with normal use. Plus the included quick charging feature means this phone has very little downtime. I can't believe so many more people don't realize what an amazing phone the Blackberry Priv is!Read full review...

Unresolved heating issues

Tried all the suggested fixes, but the phone is still too hot just doing normal surfing with chrome on wifi with no other apps downloaded, sync off, etc. It's amazingly beautiful though. I didn't like the launcher either. Standby or idle battery life was spectacular. I think it could be a good phone to battle phone addiction, but don't expect to be a power user without burning your hands offRead full review...

Great Phone! Everything A Business Person Wants + Android Toys + Marshmallow

Love the phone. Camera is amazing! Critics about battery life and overheating was NOT an issue with mine even after playing intensive games like MK X. Also, upgrading to Marshmallow was easy after a quick search through Crackberry so don't worry about being stuck with AT&T Lollipop just because you're Canadian or have a SIM that's not AT&T. Overall, fast phone, great screen, keyboard is innovative, the best of BB10 plus Android features. OK Google was a plus and Casting Screen compatibility through ROKU and CHROMECAST made me giddy! Glad BB kept the keyboard trackpad.

One little feature I miss: Blackberry Blend. But oh well. I'm on the road almost all the time so not going to miss it too much

Most Innovative Phone

Sure, you can get a Samsung or Iphone for $7-800 and they have good features. However, this is a great phone with a really big screen, all the great features and one thing nobody else has...a slide-out full keyboard! I got it for that reason and it was half the price of the others. That said, the touch screen works so well, I don't even use the keyboard.
I didn't give it stars because I just can't hardly find accessories for it. The few that I do find are expensive. You can find numerous protective cases for the other phones till your head spins. Not so for this one. I ended up just ordering a huge, universal, padded case so I won't break it. I did find a light weight fitted cover for it, but it isn't very substantial.

Blackberry came to their senses.

The keyboard is tactile and the typing suggestion system is great once you are used to it. Ive never been able to type so quickly before and there is something satisfying about physically moving the phone to answer calls. I have been using android phones since the first galaxy note came out and ive owned samsung HTC and OnePlus phones that have all revealed some fatal flaw (battery life, crashing, etc.) within the first few weeks. the only complaint i have about the priv is the non removable battery. The carbon fiber backing just might be worth that though :)Read full review...

Best Smartphone

Definitely the best smartphone available in the market. Features especially stand out:
• Physical keyboard: If you do a lot of typing - emails, social media, texting, etc., this phone is a must. The keyboard shortcut (it’s programmable) and keyboard gestures are additional very handy features that makes text editing very productive on Priv.

• The Hub feature is very efficient bringing essentials in one place, very well organizedl

• Camera (18 MP) is also the best - much better in low light condition than the iPhone 6S.

Highly recommended!

The Pinnacle of Blackberry Handset Technology

I love this phone. This is the last great handset that Blackberry will produce. They have announced that they will cease making cell phones and concentrate on their software & security divisions. It is a pity. It is one of the last cell phones with a physical keyboard & I will hold on to it as long as possible. I am not a fan of touch screen keyboards. Blackberry produced one more phone after this one called the, "DTEK 50". It is a lesser version of this phone with no physical keyboard. I am sure sales are abysmal. Who wants a Blackberry without a physical keyboard? Blackberry should have made a cheaper version of this phone with a physical keyboard. The change to an Android operating system was a step in the right direction.Read full review...

BlackBerry Priv - Great battery life, Excellent display, top notch security and a slide out keyboard!

I love this phone. After using BB10 for almost 4 years I was afraid of switching to Android because of all of my friends horror stories with glitches, lag, poor battery life and even cell reception. The Priv has NONE of those issues! Battery can easily last 2 days, maybe three if I stretch it. The Priv feels quite fluid and productive, much more so than any other Android phone ive experienced. The HUB is a nice feature, it unifies all your messages into one place, no more wasting time switching between apps! The keyboard is awesome! Very seldom do I use the onscreen keyboard. BlackBerry provides monthly updates for this phone, even beating out the speed Google gets out their updates. Highly recommendedRead full review...

Wonderfully different!

It's an awesome phone and there's absolutely nothing on the market like it. I'm all about being different and this is different something unique compared to today's standard phones. Only issue I'm having is this phone gets hot to the touch on the back. I've spoken wit blackberry and they are aware of the problem but say that the 6.0 update helps reduce if not fully eliminate the issue.Read full review...
