Extra safety against having your firearm taken from you.
Blackhawk is known for both quality and practically with their products. This 'Serpa Concealment Holster' is no exception. I typically wear an IWB holster for EDC, but during the winter months I prefer an OWB holster. The nice thing about this holster is the added "lock" which is released with your index/trigger finger. IF you draw your pistol the correct way, i.e. with the trigger finger straight out, there is absolutely no possibility of accidentally discharging the firearm. Practicing firearm safety is essential, of course, regardless of what kind of holster one uses and making sure the holster is of good quality... one that covers the trigger guard and is of hard material. Broke while putting it on, poor quality
I am not happy with the holster actually. I was going to use it for the first time and it broke while stringing my belt throught the belt loops on the clip. Not too happy. Id like to know how to return it for a new one or be reimbursed. It broke before i even got to try it, not very safe to secure a firearm.
