Blue driver ftw

Used to have an Android and a $20 scanner.. when I got an iPhone the cheap scanners didn’t work. Ordered blue driver.. it arrived in less than 48 hours. connected with no issues or complications. Used it to diagnose my cousins 2016 fusion. It really communicates with many of the vehicles systems. Plugged it into a friend’s 07 bmw and it needed an update. Updated it In spot and was able to Communicate and clear all lights on dash. And a cylinder#5misfire No longer pay stealership over 150 for a reading. Went and got an $80 tablet to use with the blue driver, gives a more professional look to customers.. a blue driver is on par with shops 5-10k equipment in diagnosing supported vehicles.. Not only a tool for the DIY guy/gal but a great way to keep tabs on your mechanic. Being able to quickly, easily and cheaply pull codes helps to get the correct information to make the repair.
I drive with the Live view running to monitor for any issues.

GREAT code reader with advanced features

I used this so far in a 2002 Cadillac Escalade. It was able to read pending,history,and current codes in ALL of the modules. It seems that they also constantly update the firmware, and software, so the features should continue to improve. I hope that one day you will be able to see data stream from all of the modules too (like wheel speed sensors), not just the ECU. Even if that never comes around, this is still the top option for code reading with advanced domestic features at this time.Read full review

Best Bluetooth OBD scanner for the price.

It can see codes for almost everything. I reset my tire pressure monitor and see codes for ABS and transmission for my minivan. Also can reset satellite radio codes for my Mercedes when I replaced the battery on the car.
I got this after watching Scotty Kilmer for a while and how he always talked about it.
