UV-cured adhesives are good, but Bondic is pretty expensive...

This stuff is a great complement to superglue: use superglue to put 2 large parallel surfaces together (but don't let it ooze out the edges onto your fingers!), then use this put a little bead of adhesive/plastic on the edge and flash-harden it at the edges. It's also good to fill in small gaps in broken plastic items quickly and easily, with material that has considerable strength and durability. Prices for Bondic kits are all over the map - I've seen them vary by 2-3X all over the web. The Bondic brand material kits is widely advertised, but much more expensive than UV cured adhsive/filler alternatives that are available for 4-5X cheaper. I haven't actually tried the alternatives, but they should work as well -- and they're so much cheaper that they're worth a try.Read full review...

Just OK

I wish you had a middle option like "sort of" or something. It seemed to work great at first for things that won't be moving much, but things like cords, things that will endure some impact, or items that need strong bonding, its not that great. Its flexible for a time, then it just comes back apart again. I have the other brand so have yet to try that one, but this one is just ok to use on things that you won't be using regularly. I used on my earphones and also on my sunglasses and I keep having to reattach/reapply every couple of days because it becomes loose after awhile and you can break it off.Read full review...

Get this Stuff

It does what super glue can't. It's like finding a tool at Harbor Freight that you didn't know existed, but would have made the last decade of repairing things easier. It's the only thing that would work in some situations.

NOTE: I bought Bondic brand first and used it up. I found what I thought was the same thing at Menard's with a blue cap, which didn't work as well as Bondic did.

So pay a couple of bucks more, and find the Bondic brand someplace. It's worth it.

Revolutionary product for repairing items.

The product successfully repaired a large Rubbermaid food storage container which I use a lot and, is no longer available. Repairing the Rubbermaid Item would have been difficult with conventional glue/adhesive products. Also, the repairs appear to be holding up despite being washed in a dishwasher several times. I am glad I purchased the extra refill. I attempted to repair a pair of eye glass frames but was unsuccessful mainly because it as my fault.Read full review...

Does what’s advertised

Have used some off-brand non-glue adhesives. Some work ok. This branded product seems better-made. It worked as advertised to bond a plastic piece to another in a difficult area. One has to be careful to make sure that the UV can get to the product, otherwise, this seems to really work well. Came quickly too, as I needed the repair, and my brand x stuff had run out.Read full review...

Garbage, waste, junky ch!na carp.

Horrible. Why doesn't this work? The UV light concept is solid, but this particular version is a big fail!
The glue, even after many UV attempts, stays sticky, though a little more cured than when first applied, but it stays soft, sticky (like a boys hand after eating candy) and will not hold like glue, dried or cured glue, should.
Bad, cheap, garbage product here.
Waste of time and money.

Useful Product

The product worked fairly well, curing is almost instant and mostly durable. I would recommend this to almost anyone. Especially if you have something kinda smallish and delicate this repairs it perfectly!Read full review...

Better made and better design.

So far so good it might be better than 5 second Fix.
I like the construction of it, it's very well made not cheap or defective like 5 second Fix.
I had occasion where the bonding agent would erupt a little it happens with 5 Second Fix too so I'm used to it. Overall I believe it's better than 5 Second Fix and most likely I buy it again.Read full review...

This product was useless in all applications I purchased it for use in.

May be useful in very limited applications I have not needed it for yet but tried it on several repair projects and it does not bond to a number of plastics or other materials,

Any successful repair will have external visible material added as you can't cure it on surfaces hidden from the UV light. It says you can tool or sand it down however if you take off enough for it to not be visible external to the repair you will have basically removed it.

Says non-toxic but includes significant warnings about breathing its vapor or having it contact your skin. I have much greater success with the type of repairs I would use it for by using a high quality Superglue like the one made by Gorilla glue.

Just Shy of a Miracle

Convenient for many uses but has some limitations. Take care with prep and actual item to join. Worked on a microphone isolation unit, a broken inline ac switch and a plastic cover for an electronic device but did not keep by eye glass arm together.Read full review...
