You are in for a treat

My only real problem is adjusting for sounds. I am a guy with moderate hearing loss. My other half insists that I am trying to blow out our windows. Yes she has a hearing loss too. Easy to use and that says something for me who is electronically challenged. All kidding aside it’s a Bose. Not my first product of theirs and it will not be my last. Bose Disappoints - Faulty Software

Bose has always been an amazing brand in my eyes. Every Bose speaker I have owned has had great sound and lasted a long time. The SoundTouch 2.0 has been a huge disappointment. I was never able to get past the initial set-up because the new Bose speaker needed a software update but the new SoundTouch software crashed the speaker. I have tried updating the software via iPhone, Android, Windows, and Apple Desktop (Bose software was too outdated to be allowed on a new Apple computer). I even hard wired the speaker via ethernet to the same internet that the Bose app was running on and the software still fails to update.

I've researched this issue and seems to be a known issue with Bose and the Bose community. Bose has officially responded to some of the chats with some of the basic troubleshooting that I initially tried. The troubleshooting has seemed to not work for anyone on the forums that I looked at and Bose did not have another response to the troubleshooting that does not work.

Additionally, the Bose online chat and call center seems to be shut down due COVID-19. The 1-800 numbers states there may be a long wait but each call que that I select automatically hangs ups within a couple seconds.

I would love to get some support from Bose as I would really like to get this speaker set up. Until then, I am very disappointed in the software and support that Bose is offering.
