I have another Soundtouch 20 and two Soundtouch 10s. The sound is very good on these units. What I like best with the Soundtouch is how you can group up to four Soundtouch and play the same music. This fills your home with the music you enjoy. You can also pair the speakers for stereo sound if you want or and to another sound system (haven't figured this out yet).

This was to replace a Soundtouch 10 in the living room. I felt it was too small for the room. The Soundtouch 20 does the trick. In the kitchen, I have the 10. So, when I am cooking, I can listen to music. If I go into the living room, the same song is playing as in the kitchen. Terrible app and the network. There is a constant need to be setting up from the beginning. Constant automatic turning off, disconnects.

Don't buy unless you plan to spend at least 20 minutes on initial setup and connectivity before EVERY time you want to use it. Bose network and speakers are designed to disconnect all the time. Great features and Sound

I found my first one at a thrift store for $25. After that I was hooked. Found another on Ebay 'as-is'. Had it updated and rocking in 10 minutes. The next 'as-is' went off to my sister after I repaired it.

I don't usually buy refurbished, but this product is discontinued and buying one refurbished from Bose seemed like the least risky of the options I found. I was relieved to find my Soundtouch 20 arrived promptly and was in excellent working order. I wanted this model specifically because it doesn't have microphones (Alexa) to listen to me all the time in my house. Great sounding audio streaming without eavesdropping.

This device sounds good, plays all of my streaming sources (Amazon and Pandora) and does not have Alexis or Siri capabilities, i.e. more security which I like. Unfortunately all the new speakers I have looked at have built-in eavesdropping (Alexis) which I refuse to purchase.
