great shave, rechargeable razor without undo weight
I have sensitive skin and some razors irritate it. I have found Braun over the years to be excellent and the Series 3 suits me well. the two heads plus "long hair catcher" in the centre work well. I do wonder with the latest purchase whether the foil is now slightly thicker, or it may well be that it feels different to my old worn head. Read full review...

Shaver parts
Fits modell of shaver. Very expensive part could almost buy a new shaver for cost. Originally bought a year ago yesterday so hasn't lasted very long.

New design.
Obviously changing shaver foils happens usually every 12/18 months. There was an improved design on this foil and as a result I have found this positive. Shave quality improved and overall very satisfied with the product.Read full review...

Good product!
The only thing I would mention about this product is why is there such a big difference in the price? This being in black and the more expensive in the Silver finish! Crazy to make such a difference in cost! Other than this I cannot find fault with this excellent product!Read full review...

Close shave but expensive.
Gives a good close shave, but definitely doesn't last me 18 months, maybe up to a year max. I think perhaps the reason it doesn't last the suggested time, is that I tend to press the shaver too hard against my skin, thereby accentuating wear of the foil. I do think that the product is expensive, it is not much more to buy a new Braun shaver!Read full review...

A Close Shave............
Didn’t realise how worn out was my old foil. My razor lights up every 18 months warning that the foil needs changing- I should have taken notice of it. Go for it - it’s worth the money!

Original quality
I use my razor most days and over the years I have learnt that after about 18 months I either need to get a new one, or replace the blades. Trying to save money I have tried using the non-generic replacements but found that generally they are a waste of money! Not sharp or the longevity is atrocious. I now only use OEM parts. Yes they do cost a little more initially but long term it is the best option. Read full review...

good but expensive
Braun consumers are trapped into buying these expensive but essential parts.
Very good quality but price well over the top, almost cheaper to buy a new shaver.

What a difference;
It's one of those things you keep putting off and the gradual reduction of shaving quality you don't really notice....
But with the new foil, what a difference! Smooth shave again. Good price and speedy no hassle delivery for less than you'd pay in Boots.Read full review...

we had a problem getting this spare part for the shaver. thankfully Amazon had stock.
Why are manufacturers allowed to upgrade/ replace models of products with no warning? We have 2 Braun shavers, because my disabled husband can shave using this model with little problem. Now they have dropped this model and so we have to struggle to get parts. It is happening more often and causes products to be discarded before they are broken or worn out.
I think this is a scandal which should be looked into, if a product is being replaced, there should be a way to part exchange .
No wonder the landfills are overflowing!Read full review...
