Brilliant at steaming!

Fantastic iron - I've been ironing for almost 40 years and this is one of the best irons I've used in a long, long time! It's brilliant at steaming! Super fast heat up on switch on and steam is there almost immediately. The very 1st item I ironed with it was a crepe dress that was wardrobe bone dry, been in there months! I honestly couldn't believe how well it performed - I thought I was going to have to wash the dress before I ironed it - mega impressive! It removed every stubborn crease brilliantly and both the water spray and steam burst function were a great help! The huge water tank is great, so you can easily steam clothes without filling up every 2 minutes! The soleplate glides over the fabric like its made of satin, so smooth, on any type of fabric - simply test a small and inconspicuous part of the item with the iron, on the fabric setting of your choice, and away you go! Very good iron but you need to follow the instructions properly so you make the most of it and never put more water than the maximum limit.love it,as good as the Philips azur range.the best features : amount of steam desired can be adjusted via a dial and it has a calc deposit which can be removed for cleaning :) .downsides: a bit bulky and heavy.Read full review
