Almost ALL makers of pressure washers include a hose rated at about the same PSI as their machine's output so that even the slightest abrasion causes the hose to weaken and eventually burst. Wise up folks! To gain a 4000 PSI rating these hoses have a tougher outer layer which will resist abrasion far better and thus extend the service life for years. Do yourself a favor and don't wait til you're on a job when it bursts and you've gotta go buy some high price lower rated hose just to finish your work.
