New Brita Maxtra certainly improves taste
I've been buying Maxtra ever since our local reservoir closed and we started getting water from elsewhere. We used to have soft and lovely tasting water. I could tell a slight difference with the original Maxtra and the new version almost takes us back to the old days. We drink black tea and find that after three weeks the cups begin to get stained and the tea becomes cloudy, however for those three weeks we get excellent tea. Brita Maxtra is a definite Plus!
We have been using Brita Maxtra Cartridges for some years as this is a notoriously hard water area. Needing to stock up again, a 12 Pack of the Maxtra + is the best way to achieve the filtered water required for decent tea and coffee, and the occasional bit of cooking for the next year.
