good book and ideas that have been brought up by many different nations tribal leaders for a while, especially the plains. I would like anyone and everyone interested in the preservation of buffalo and the traditional native plains ways of life to go over to BFC.org. These people are my heroes [and they even feed me when they're in town, lol]. What alot of people don't know if that there really is no proven case of spread of diease from buffalo to cattle it was actually the other way around with brucosus. The real element of concern here is the buffolo encroaching on ranchers feeding grounds on federal land. Does that make sense? well, I guess if your a rancher who pays big bucks to the right politicans it does. The privately owned cows in my opinion have no right to graize on federal lands and these people have no right to terrorize wild herds with buggies and helecopters and then corral and butcher them. Provably with letters found and published in the late 1800s the buffalo were just about driven to extinction to crush the plains tribes and force them on to allotted stamps of land. This year yellowstone area saw thee worse massacre of buffalo since that point in time, the individuals proved they had no regard for life or the feelings and petitions of many, basically just spit in everyones faces and proclaimed they could do what they wanted, same with the 14 shot in the head, not out of their den wolf pups in Alaska, against federal guidelines and laws, now being sued but , geez, can they resurect them? this by federal agents for special interest groups, hopefully all this will change very soon. Until then, the best chance these guys have of living and dying honored is on stamp plots of the land by the people for the people.Read full review...
