I had read this years ago when I was a new Christain. Recently had an interesting conversation with a good friend and this came up. I ordered a set for her and this for myself. It beats Narnia in the sci-fi category. A man named Ransom is kidnapped and taken to another planet (Venus) where he meets several gentle non-human races and an Eve who has not fallen from grace. In returning to earth, he ponders the idea that God's grace and mercy is available to all sentient beings. Spooky, weird, wonderful trilogy that's a must-read for lovers of fantasy.

This would be one of my top ten lifetime books. This trilogy is eerie, tear-jerkingly beautiful, haunting, and far-sighted. C.S.
